Have also heard from other OOo forum user who had same issue. Created a new VirtualBox virtual PC Installed Windows XP Home Allowed windows updates etc. to occur, so had a 'clean' fully patched XP Installed second public beta of OOo 3.0 Double-click desktop icon to open Start Centre. Start Centre Opens. Quickstarter also opens. Close Start Centre. Double-click desktop icon to open Start Centre. Start Centre does not open. Close Quickstarter. Double-click desktop icon to open Start Centre. Start Centre Opens. This is 100% reproducible. PC reboots and OOo re-installs etc make no difference.
