2008 -------
Installed OOo 3.0 beta 2 mainly successfully. OOo 2.4.1 still installed. Set 
Beta version  to be default for Office files by ticking checkboxes. Now 
all .docs open with wordpad. Did a registry clean, uninstalled 2.4.1 and tried 
to check tickboxes in add/remove programs in control panel. But it just ignores 
it. Any ideas? Otherwise seems OK.
