------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Jul 20 17:57:13 +0000 2008 ------- One thing I noticed is that opening a .sxc or .ods ODF spreadsheet the preference for Calc has the option "Enable regular expressions in formulas" uner "Calculate" checked (or maybe that is saved in the file?). Opening a .xls spreadsheet that is never the case so I have to enable it always when I open a .xls spreadsheet using regular expressions. I became aware of this different behaviour when I switched back to using .xls for a spreadsheet that I originally created in the OOo 1.x .sxc format. So I guess this "feature" exists since the early 2.x versions when I started using .xls instead of .ods I don't know if checking this option causes problems with .xls spreadsheets but if that is not the case I would suggest to use the same default preferences as with ODF spreadsheets. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
