------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Jul 21 16:16:28 +0000 2008 ------- Multiple users/customers reported that they had seen a bug in impress that caused documents to always switch back to slide 1 after some time. The problem was caused that the document was opened in read only mode and that someone once set the refresh every nth seconds in the "internet" tab page of the document properties. The first, opening in read only mode happens often without the user knowing it, f.e. when clicking on a link to a presentation on the web or working on a network storage without write access. The second problem, having a document with the refresh option set is in nearly all times confusing to the user as they experience the actual feature as a bug. Since I'm getting such complains many times I decided to disable the refresh feature for impress. For OOo 3.0 the document setting will still be there but there will be no automatic refresh. For OOo 3.1 we will use this issue to decide if such a feature is needed at all. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
