------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Jul 24 15:56:13 +0000 2008 ------- Mild relation to: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=19291 Ok, try this: open a file launch another writer open the same file It will look like the file was opened the second time but it was not -- the writer simply switched to the first instance. The wish -- don't do this. Open the second (and later) time the file in read-only mode. Reason: the same as for split-views. In one window I edit file, in second (and third, and so on) I keep track of references (source formulas, previous paragraphs). It is useful because with two monitors, you can put one window at one monitor, and the second window (editor) at the second. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
