Ah, now I see... It is the font size, which does not switch back to old value.
As a workaround, I could only propose to delete the configuration folder in
c:\documents and settings\[useer_name]\Application data\
MRU->OS: in the Basic fonts dialog, change the size of the "Default font" to
14pt and confirm dialog. The reopen dialog, click on "Default" button and
confirm dialog -> all seems ok
Now close document, create new document -> font is back at 14 pt
