Hi and sorry,
I think I made it not clear enough, will try it again.
The dialog is capable of covering more than one solver engine. According to the
Specification ( http://specs.openoffice.org/calc/features/Solver.odt ) other
solver engines can be used by developing an extension for it. Therefore the
dialog must be able to fit the needs of such an extension and therefore the
epsilon level can't be limited to the current setting accepting only values from
zero up to three. There is a case in the test case specification (TCS) covering
the epsilon level. This TCS is attached to Issue 8808 . You may have a look at
this one too.
But let's wait and see what Niklas will tell us about it. I think this Issue can
be closed as invalid.
Frank
