a simple enter will not work, since you use it to make your formula code more
readable as well.
Sometime you cannot fit a single display-line in one line of formula code.
And often (i.e. when using a matrix) multiple editor-lines make it far more
readable.
If lines in the editor should represent newlines in the actual formula, then
this of course would break badly. So: Wontfix.
And if typing is too much, you can use the selection window and hit t he
corresponding button.
