------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Jul 30 08:02:21 +0000 2008 ------- After I installed OpenOffice.org 3.0 beta 2 in two computers, one with the 'if you are just trying out OpenOffice.org 3.0 beta, so leave the boxes unchecked' checked and the one uncheked. Both of them couldn't open the word, excel, powerpoint, odt, etc files just by double-clicking, so I used OOo-dev 3.0.
