This is probably a duplicate to issue 89262. If the environment variable
SAL_DISABLE_CAIROTEXT before
starting soffice makes a difference then this is almost certain.
Go into the directory where soffice.bin is then do
SAL_DISABLE_CAIROTEXT=1 ./soffice.bin -
