cmc: One would say AC_CHECK_SIZEOF(size_t) in configure.in, set_soenv.in,
and .IF's in the appropriate makefile.mk's... Ehm, forget it, VERIFIED ;-) -
no need to make it complex when it's just a workaround for the libxmlsec
