However, now that you suggest an alternative formula for the OOo calculation, that Excel does not like, I can provide you with one formula that Excel likes: =SUMPRODUCT(MMULT(($A$2:$A$4=$A$9)*1;($B$1:$D$1=$A$10)*1)*$B$2:$D$4) I just added the '*1' factors to the logical vectors so that Excel could make the calculation.
