This issue involves a specific document that I attach here. If the spell checker shall work within this document on your computer, then just forget the whole thing. I did not check this document on other computers. In my case, on this specific computer the spell checker does not work on the page after I select and delete this document. Please notice that spell checker works within the table created within the same document - the word "aplicant" is indicated as an error in the table and not as an error outside the table.To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=45594
