This is so annoying. I could consistently reproduce this behavior before, but
now, not having changed anything, for the life of me I don't seem to be able to.
Changing this issue to INVALID for now; if someone else runs into this behavior
or if I manage to actually reproduce the problem, it could be worth re-opening.
