------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Aug 18 02:17:57 +0000 2008 ------- Generally on architectural drawings "1000" doesn't have a 1000s separator. One thousand should be "1000", not "1,000" One milion should be "1000000", not "1,000,000" But, on Draw, 1000s separaters are put automatically for a demention line. 1. Open Draw 2. Tools -> Options -> OpenOffice.org Draw -> General - Settings -- Unit of measurement: Milimeter - Scale -- Drawing scale: 1:30 3. From "Lines and Arrows" tool bar, select "Demention Line" 4. Draw a demention line which is longer than 1 meter (1000 milimeters) 5. 1000s separator is automatically put, so it looks "1,000mm" I think whether 1000s separators are put or not should be optional. If you right-click a demention line and select "Dementions...", you can view "Dementioning" dialog. Here is my proposal. How about adding "Put 1000s separators" with a checkbox under "Show meas. unit"?
