In Writer type a correctly spelled word in a different language than the document language (language must be supported by spellchecker, e.g in a german UI with german locales write an english word so that the autospellcheck will detect the "mispelled" word) 2. Open spellchecker by Tools-Spellcheck or context on the "mispelled" word 3.
