------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Mar 29 16:14:58 -0800 2005 ------- My language is indeed set to US. However, looking at the 1976 edition of Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary shows gauge (as well as gage). The third definition of gage says it is a variation of gauge. The definition of gauge as I read it contains just what I originally was using it for in my document. But regardless there is more to this problem than simply wether this word is in the correct language set or not. The second part of my problem is that when you click on that button in the spell check that says (when you hover over it) "check word", the spell checker says the word is spelled correctly. So, when you originally go to check the word from oowriter, the spell checker comes up, but when you check that same word in the spell check, it says it is spelled correctly. I hope I have explained this better. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
