------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Aug 25 16:01:14 +0000 2008 ------- Thanks for looking into this. Using my pedestrian use of the word "bug" I think this is not an enhancement but a bug. I think this is a pretty serious shortcomming. I used the "remove personal information on saving" button expecting it to remove my name everywhere it occured in the document. My expectation was caused both by the obvious meaning of the phrase "personal information" but also because the button (with an identical name) in MS Office *does* remove names from notes. My name occurring in the comments is as much personal information as my name occurring in the metadata, in my case I didn't care about my name in the metadata, but I *did* care about having my name in the notes. If this button doesn't remove this information I think (a) it shouldn't say "personal information", (b) it shouldn't read exactly like a button in another program and behave differently, and (c) it ought to warn you that some information (like your name in notes) won't be removed. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
