I could not lay my hand on it and then I run OOo through valgrind and it was showing me invalid read of size 8 (on 64bit) in the SwModify::GetRegisteredIn(). Adding the check made it impossible for me to reproduce the crash. Removing the "fix" makes the reproduction again easy. It is quite possible that it is only solving the symptoms.
