for the record: If you have a Thunderbird / Firefox installation with security
certificates added, then those certificates are to be found/used by OOo's
document encryption service. This had been the case for quite a while, but broke
(well, had been intentionally disabled for other reasons) recently. This made it
impossible for OOo to verify document signatures, as well as HTTPS signatures.

With re-enabling the profile finder service inside OOo, which is able to find
the TB/FF profiles, our xmlsecurity implementation will be able to use the
certificates in those profiles, again.
