The Swedish thesaurus 1.0
found here http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/project/SweThes
and here http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/node/935
(same file!)
DOES NOT INSTALL.

The reason is the following:

The contained files
\dictionaries\th_sv_SE.dat
and \dictionaries\th_sv_SE.idx
.
do NOT abide by the "new" naming standard from OOo > 1.1 (!)
.
Renaming the files to
\dictionaries\th_sv_SE_v2.dat
and \dictionaries\th_sv_SE_v2.idx
.
SOLVES THE PROBLEM.
.
Moreover, the "Thesaurus Synlex for OOo" and "Pack 2003-08-14" suffers from THE
SAME type of problem.

First, "Thesaurus Synlex for OOo" = thes_sv_SE_v2.zip
Needs to have its files
\th_sv_SE.dat
\th_sv_SE.idx
\README_thes_sv_SE.txt
renamed to
\th_sv_SE_v2.dat
\th_sv_SE_v2.idx
\README_th_sv_SE_v2.txt

Second, "Pack 2003-08-14" = sv_SE-pack.zip
Needs to have its file \thes.txt renamed to \thes2.txt
NOTE: The contents of \thes2.txt MUST BE: sv,SE,th_sv_SE_v2,Swedish
(Sweden),th_sv_SE_v2.zip
AND th_sv_SE_v2.zip (renamed thes_sv_SE_v2.zip from above) must be
added to sv_SE-pack.zip
.
To sum up, I'm sure that Swedish thesaurus is NOT the only one suffering from
this!
You should get this info up and out in as many ways that you can, OBVIOUSLY
there's A LOT of old documentation out there!
