------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Sep 5 02:49:19 +0000 2008 ------- The style is default text, Times New Roman and font size 12. At the top of the screen are the following 5 lines: "the last line of a paragraph is at the top of the screen. The Test The beginning of a three-line paragraph." Place the cursor on the line with "The Test". Enable the "apply style" drop-down box on the tool bar to change the line text to "Heading 3". The drop down box covers the first two lines of the paragraph after "The Test" The increased text size for "The Test" pushes down the the text below it (including the screen real estate with the drop down box), and then it repaints the area where the drop down box originally existed. This leaves the bottom part of the drop down box on screen until some event (scroll the area off screen and back, or switch screens and back) causes the screen to repaint. One approach would be to reverse the events so you repaint the drop down box area before applying the text change. This is openoffice.org-2.4.1-17.4.fc9, obviously on Fedora 9. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
