------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Sep 8 05:32:12 +0000 2008 ------- When testing the account settings for mailmerge, the system fails to connect to the SMTP server. (I'm using the same settings as I use for Mac Mail.) Ignoring this problem and actually trying to send the mailmerge fails to send anything too. To reproduce the problem: 1 Create a spread sheet with a column that contains emails. 2 Create a document using Writer. 3 In Writer, click Tools->mail merge wizzard, and go through the wizard until it asks you for mail account settings. I used my Yahoo (plus) account which allows pop and smtp. I don't check SSL, I do check authentication for SMTP. 4 After I click test, it fails to connect to the SMTP server even though I'm convinced my settings are correct and I've tried four different times.
