It looks a lot like the JRE timeout issue, but even with X11 (the new one - 2.1.5, i am unable to get OOo to start at all. Tried backing out 2.4.1 and restore 2.4.0 - same issue. I am on a 2.8 GHz intel iMac with 2 GB memory and have been using OOo since i got this machine and for a few years on the G4 PowerBook which preceded it.
