------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Sep 19 12:12:10 +0000 2008 ------- The instances of user fields in a subdocument are not updated with the content that is set in the master document or other subdocuments. This defeats the purpose of user fields as "global variables". Steps to reproduce: 1. Create a master document with subdocuments 2. In the master document, insert a user field and set a value 3. Open a subdocument 4. Open the dialog to insert a user field 5. The user field that you set in the master document is not available for selection. Insert it manually. 6. Change the value of the user field in the master document. 7. Go back to the subdocument: The value is not updated with the change 8. Change the value in the subdocument 9. Go back to the master document: The value is not updated with the change --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
