SBA -> hrjako, brko: Re-assuring that an unfixed issue still exists does not
make "developer ressources rain from the sky". And issues do not fix themselves
even when repeatedly being asked for. OOo development can never address all
issues that already are written. There are by far more people joining Ooo
community by WRITING issues than people who contribute developer ressources for
REAL product benefit (bug reports are documentacion, bug fixes are a real
change, in most cases for the benefit of manymany users). Thus developer
ressources are spent based on things like "priorities": What to do first and
next and next. At times, there seems to be "bigger fish to catch" than this very
issue.
I hope that the "responsible people" you intend to contact can contribute some
new developer ressources in order to support the OOo project. In example by
submitting a patch for this issue. The active OOo developers are a lot of
helpful people who do help programmers into contributing for this project.
