@chennecke: yes you are right, we could *improve* this area = enhancement.
The help doesn't speak especially about sub-documents in master documents but
about plain Writer documents. Therefore, this is not a situation we have
expected and therefore it is a feature (because we have to specify how to
display the difference between master and subdocs in the dialog - your
screenshot).
