Tabstops are currently exported as spaces, which are ignored by LaTeX at the
start of a paragraph.
Exporting tabstops as two explicit (\ ) spaces makes sense and will probably be
closer to user expectations. I will change this for Writer2LaTeX 0.9.2
The current version of the filter (Writer2LaTeX 0.5.0.2, see http://www.hj-
gym.dk/~hj/writer2latex) already supports a user-configurable tabstop:
>From the command line use
w2l -tabstop "\ \ " document.odt
Using the filter, change the configuration writer2latex.xml to
<option name="tabstop" value="\ \ " />
