However in Windows 2000 Pro (SP4) a Standard User that is a member of the "Power Users Group", a user that is fully authorized to install and/or uninstall programs is no able to install OOO300M7 without administrative rights (see the screenshot). I have not had time to test on WinXPPO, but I suspect that the issue will be the same. Note: OOo3RC2 (OOO300M7) installs without issue if: 1) administrator rights are used, or 2) the user is logged on as an administrator. Recommendation: Allow a Standard User that is authorized to install/uninstall programs to install OOo3RC2, but flag so that the installation is not for "all users" as stated in the installation instructions: <quote> Unpack and install the downloaded OpenOffice.org 2.0 files [snip] 5. Read the license, select "I accept the terms in the license agreement", and click Next. The Customer Information window appears. You may leave this form blank, or enter your User Name and if applicable, Organisation.
