The Writer-cjk.xcu module (see
trunk/officecfg/registry/data/org/openoffice/Office/[EMAIL PROTECTED],
trunk/scp2/source/ooo/file_ooo.scp:260691) controls that AutoFunction/Completion
(Writer "Tools - AutoCorrect... - Word Completion - Enable word completion") is
off by default in OOo installations that contain any CJK locales.
As discussed offline with os, the best behavior would be if that setting were
either locale or script specific, but that is probably not going to be
implemented anytime soon.
So, for now, it is probably best to move the Writer-cjk.xcu module from the
basis layer to the brand layer (so that it only affects those product
installations that actually contain any CJK locales, and not also any unrelated
product installations that merely happen to share a basis layer with a product
that contains a CJK locale).
