I copied OpenOffice.org.app to
/Applications/OpenOffice.org.app
then tested using three different users, fast user switching, in this order:
1. gjp22 (my usual Mac OS X account with administrator privileges)
2. Guest Account (an environment in which preferences etc. are sure to be fresh)
3. centrimadmin (another Mac OS X account with administrator privileges)

I can not reproduce the crash described in sven's comment at GullFOSS.
The description of crashing may be interpreted as reminiscent of some other,
older bug that tended to present
_only_ if OOo had _previously_ crashed for the user.
