2008 -------
E.g. I enter the word 'Revenue' in a cell. Calc "smart" reformats this to
"revenu", which I dont want. I press CTRL+Z. Nothing happens. In this case, it
was *impossible* for me to enter the correct value because every time it will
reapply the silly format.

In MS Office, when a smart format is applied and you press CTRL+Z, the smart
format is undone to your original entry/format/whatever. This is the way it
should work.
