The update script since m6 didn't update anything but installed another copy of OOo. There are two issues here: a) update means update, not "install one more copy", so please keep the meaning of script naming b) you make the life of testers more difficult -- now I have to manually copy all the settings from m4 to RC1, or RC2 because those versions ignore previous OOo3.0x versions. They are aware only of 2.4 series.
