------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Oct 16 15:33:36 +0000 2008 ------- I recently installed Open Office 3.0. My operating system is Windows XP (Home). When I click on an Open Office file in My Documents or a shortcut on my desktop, it doesn't open. At first it went to a window about file conversion, but now it goes to a window that says "Open with Firefox (Default)" or "Other". When I say use Firefox, it the new window offers me the same options. When I choose "Other" and try to open it in Word or Notepad. I get gibberish in Notepad and even worse gibberish (with some but not all Asian characters) when I use Word. Open Office is useless to me if I can't open my files. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
