There appears to be no easy way to represent a timestamp (date+time) in 
spreadsheet cells. You have to use two cells (one for each of date and time). 
This has several drawbacks:
- timestamp arithmetic is extremely complicated
- it is very hard to import/export timestamp columns from data bases.
- you can't easily create spreadsheets that simulate iCal documents
