I get an error message displaying no text (just an error icon). Note that after that I installed en-US version with Java and it works fine on my computer. You can find some other user description here: http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=10730 I tried to solve the issue myself and so I compared openofficeorg1.cab from en-US and pl version. Here are some strange differences I've found: 1. Some (maybe all) *.so* files are XML files in en-US version but they are binary in pl: arrowhd_en_US.soe/arrowhd_pl.soe; classic_en_US.sog/classic_pl.sog; modern_en_US.sog/modern_pl.sog; styles_en_US.sod/styles_pl.sod 2. Some *.res files differs in only few bits which seemed like a bug in a tool that was used for translation/compilation. Then I noticed they are probably ids of the strings which still is strange - shouldn't they be the same in Polish and English version? Anyway untranslated files are: adabasuien_US.res/adabasuipl.res; bf_ofaen_US.res/bf_ofapl.res; bf_svten_US.res/bf_svtpl.res; sdbclen_US.res/sdbclpl.res; t602filteren_US.res/t602filterpl.res; tfuen_US.res/tfupl.res; tfuen_US.res/tfupl.res; tken_US.res/tkpl.res; updchken_US.res/updchkpl.res; wzien_US.res/wzipl.res 3. Additionally all "*1.xcu" files contain much too many whitespace characters. This of course shouldn't matter (except for their size), but still seems a little strange to me and kinda makes me wonder - what tool was used for translation? I've made an experiment and from 286kB file I've removed all empty lines and made a 64kB file (still containing readable, indented structure). 4.
