------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Oct 20 09:27:19 +0000 2008 ------- Really quite a considerable bug, I'm astonished it hasn't even been confirmed yet! I tested it and found the following behavior: Instead of the file saved for recovery (default: in folder C:\Documents and settings\username\Application data\OpenOffice.org\3\user\backup), the last saved file is recovered. Additionally, at the point of time of recovery, the file in the backup folder is deleted! That means that if OOo crashes, the workaround is to go to the backup folder and copy the file to your user folder _prior the restarting OOo_. I really hope this is going to be fixed in 3.0.1. For most users, especially those not being technical, this is a serious drawback!
