2005 -------
I have just tried OOo 2.0 Beta on Linux (and on Win 2000).
My main problem is that when I import a ".sxw" generated by OOo 1.1.4, my
characters formats and styles are not kept ; for instance, "Standard Symbols"
characters used in 1.1.4 become "Times" characters.
I defined personnal "Title" styles in my original .sxw file ; they seem to be
ignored by OOo2.0 Beta. I have spent much time to convert documents from
MS word to OOo 1.1.4 and from OOo 1.1.2 to 1.1.4; I do not want to spend much
more time to adapt my documents from OOo 1.1.4 to OOo 2.0.

Remark:
Conversions from MS ".doc" seem rather good on Win (2000), but they are bad on
Linux version, and the ".odt" generated on Windows igives bad results on Linux.
It is not important for me since I start from OOo 1.1.4 on Linux, but I think
it
important to be told.
