That forum thread describes that this problem is caused when the user enters a
name (in User Data) that contains a comma.
So the steps to reproduce the problem are:
1) Tools > Options > OO.org > User Data > Last Name
Enter a last name containing a comma: Smith,J
2) File > Open an existing file
3) Change the file content
4) File > Save
Instead of OOo saving the edited file at this point, an error dialog window
appears:
"Error saving the document docname: Object not accessible. The object cannot
be accessed due to insufficient user rights."
It is possible to File > Save As and save under a different name, but it is not
possible to save to the new name a second time.
If I close the file (discard the edits) and then open either of the files (the
original, or the new name I saved to), the file is opened read-only.
If I exit OOo at this point, the lock files for the opened files (.~lock.*#) are
not removed.
Because the lock files are not removed, even changing the user data to remove
the comma will not release the locked files: the lock files have to be removed
manually.
This problem has been seen on both Windows and Linux.
Please consider reopening this issue with a high priority.
