Thank you for this workaround.

However in comment you are wrong.

No. It is for replacing all occurrences at the same time. Remove attribute at 
all and replace b with nothing. Replace all -> replaced as expected.

Nope. Because "replace all" replaces all (as the name tells). 

Replace -- replaces just found matched string. One replacement.
Replace all -- replaces all found matched string. Max. replacaments (after 
this in the document that will be no matching string).

And in a way OOO3 knows this. It shows the dialog "search key replaced X 
times" but in document there were no replacements made.

"Replace all" does not work as "find all" and in this case it does -- this is 
a bug.
