The problem listed in this was probably inadequately illustrated by the example
given. The 'List Indent' indents the whole paragraph, including the text on the
margin. In the example given the text on the left would be shifted and the
indent would follow the left edge of that text.
Try starting with a topic like:
Detail of the problem:
Then try to set the indent to the next set of text indented as in:
Detail of the problem: If this were a Hard Left Indent I could just keep
typing an the text on the second line would be indented under the words "If this
were..." rather than wrapping under detail of the problem.
The result would look like this instead:
Detail of the problem: If this were a Hard Left Indent I could just
keep typing an the text on the second line would
be indented under the words "If this were..."
rather than wrapping under detail of the problem.
I hope this further clarifies why this problem (enhancement) should be reopened.
