Have you tried it with the final version of OOo again? I'm still using 3.0b2. I tried the next beta when it came out, and it would start up, crash, start up, crash, and so on. I still had my 3.0b2 tarball, so I quick went back to that and have hunkered down and stayed there. About 75% of what I do is writing, so I can't afford any flakiness in my word processor.
