------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Oct 31 08:10:35 +0000 2008 ------- The option for collated printing always defaults to enabled. Unchecking it, printing a document, and trying to print it again results in the Collate checkbox being selected again. There is no way to set the default to uncollated - saving the document, closing/opening it, rebooting, etc... all result in it always being collated. Changing the printer's default preferences doesn't make any difference so it seems OOo is overwriting the printer's defaults to enable collation even when the printer settings suggest a default of uncollated printing. OOo should obey the printer's suggested settings, or provide some means of saving this setting internally (either on a per-document basis, per-application basis, or universally across all OOo applications). I've noticed this behaviour in both Writer and Calc, and given it's a common dialog box I'm assuming it applies to the other applications as well. Problem didn't exist in OOo2.2 from my memory, but does in 3.0; something changed somewhere in between. Steps to reproduce: 1) Open a new, blank document in Writer 2) Navigate to File->Print... 3) Uncheck Collate 4) Click OK to print a blank page 5) Navigate to File->Print... 6) Collate is checked once again --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
