This occurs also in other Languages. The problem is that dbase only allow 10
characters for a column name.

In german, select an entry with less then 10 characters and add on the next page
some umlaut characters like 'äöü' which will result in the same error.

The problem is, that the 'äöü' characters will convert to utf-8 and are not
1-byte long.
