I open my form letter in Writer that uses the .XLS spreadsheet as a data source 3. I print my form letter... all is well. 4. I close the document. 5. I export another .XLS spreadsheet to overwrite the old one from my accounting program. 6. I open my form letter, but the data from the data source is still the same. It does not see the data from the newly exported spreadsheet. Repeat steps 4-6 as many times as you like and you never see the data from the newly exported spreadsheet. If you exit the OpenOffice QuickStarter and open the form letter again, only then will you then see the updated data. This is a big pain when we print alot of form letters using several extracts. If someone forgets to exit the QuickStarter, then they end up just printing the same set of forms over again.
