This has nothing to do with OOo 3.0. It's the QL plugin's fault. Since OOo
doesn't currently ship with an
own QL plugin and Leopard's builtin plugin for odt displays at least text
correctly, I guess that you may
also have NeoOffice and/or the neopeek plugin installed. I could reproduce the
garbled text thing with the
version of neopeek I have installed on my system.
To see which plugin QuickLook hands the document over to for preview
generation, start Terminal and
type "qlmanage -p path/to/your/document". Look at the last few lines of output.
There you will find the
misbehaving plugin.
