Confirmed it with OOo300m9 from WinXP to Ubuntu.
I have found the simple way to reproduce this. Following this,
How to reproduce it,
1. Create a new Calc with OOo3.0_ZH on WinXP
Type "Insert Text Object in Calc test" in cell B2
In cell B4, Insert -> Object -> OLE Object, then Insert OLE Object dialog
appears,Check 'Create new', select ' OpenOffice.org 3.0 Text ' in Object type
box, then OK
Enter some characters in the new text Object, like 'This is a text Object'
Save this Calc file as 'text object in calc.ods'
2. Reopen 'text object in calc.ods' with OOo3.0_EN in Ubuntu
Double-click the Text Object in 'text object in calc.ods', then insert 3
empty new lines after the existing text, entering some characters like 'test'
at the third new line, Click any other cells in 'text object in calc.ods', then
Save and close the file.
3. Open 'text object in calc.ods' with OOo3.0_EN in Ubuntu once more
Double-click the Text Object in 'text object in calc.ods'
Not only Soffice but also my Ubuntu system hangs.
I will attach 2 testing files, one made on WinXP and the other editted On
Ubuntu.
