SBA: Thanks for trusting me. But this is not my issue at all :-)
WG is the correct (QA) owner for PPT (= Impress import) issues. SJ is on of the
Impress developers. I deal with Writer and UI issues... :-)
However, a bugdoc is always better than whatever error code output. From the
QA's point of view, an important question is always "how can I verify a fix"?
Code review alone is NOT the best thing to verify the absence of defects!
Example: It would not help that much if the loop is avoided but the document in
questions fails to load its content after the fix.
Please note that we (WG, SJ and me) at SUN Microsystems OOo development are
obliged by our work contracts to deal with confidential customer documents as
the customers rightfully expect us to do. This means: No Issuezilla attachment,
but used on internal, well-protected machines only in order to fix and verify
issues.
SBA->WG: Please send a mail from your Sun-account to johnlumby to "officially"
ask for this confidential doc. Reassigned to you.
