An error message "read error" appears while scrolling up or down and the whole application stalls for seconds. - When eps images are embeded, OO renders them quicker. The "read error" message does not appear. I still find it slow and it scrolling is not smooth. So, the main problem is when images are embeded. Since my hard disk is fast, the linux box not busy, and the images are directly rendered when I use gv, I consider that the slowliness comes from OO. Smoothness of the scrolling could also be improved (while scrolling, the image doesn't need to be rendered !). > Test this in a current 3.0 version I won't do that now (I'm afraid of breaking things which somehow work...
