In your document, the color is not set "hard" but over a character style "House
note". In this case you need to check "Including Styles" in the Search options.
I just guess you previously searched in hard formatted texts in 2.4.1 and never
used styles or never had to search using "including styles" (same bhavior in
2.4.1 and 3.0).
